Welcome to the Confirmation Class of 2017!

What does it mean to be a United Methodist?

Our Schedule:

Sunday evenings beginning at 7pm except on the nights when Live wires and UMYF meet, then we will meet at 6pm.

Our Schedule: We are NOT meeting on the following dates: Easter (April 16), Mother’s Day

(May 14), and Memorial day weekend (May 28). That gives us just 11 times to meet.

Absences: If you are going to be absent, please send a text message to me or to Terri Pittinger at least an hour before our meeting. Attendance is REQUIRED

for confirmation to be completed. You are allowed three absences with make up work to be turned in. Most of the learning is done in a group environment, so being a part of the group each week is important. We will learn together. Mentors will be available to discuss with you how you are progressing on the journey. They are also available to assist you with any questions you have along the way. Mentors are NOT required to attend the class sessions. They are invited to attend, but they are not required. Make good use of your mentors.

ONLINE: We will attempt to post any lesson information on our website. Make up work will

also be posted online.

Journaling: We will expect you to keep of journal of your activities, your questions, your

frustrations, your lessons learned throughout the weeks. Journaling helps to keep a balance between what you are thinking and what you are reading.

Snacks:

We will attempt to have snacks available each week. See Terri for details.
